How Virtual Therapy Works
Telehealth allows us to engage in powerful somatic and holistic work without the commute. Here is what you can expect.
Secure & Private
We use a fully HIPAA-compliant video platform. Your sessions remain completely confidential, just as they would in a physical office.

- Set the mood: Feel free to have a cup of tea, a blanket, or light a candle to make the space feel therapeutic.
- Use headphones: Earbuds or headphones can improve audio quality and enhance your sense of privacy.
Frequently Asked Questions About Virtual Therapy
Do you see clients outside of Newport Beach?
As a California-licensed therapist, I'm able to offer telehealth sessions to anyone physically located within the state of California at the time of our session — from Los Angeles and Orange County to San Diego and beyond.
Does insurance cover telehealth sessions?
Telehealth sessions are billed the same as in-person sessions. I'm in-network with UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Optum, though many clients choose to pay privately ($200 for 50-55 minutes) for added flexibility in session frequency and treatment approach. If you'd prefer to pay privately or your plan isn't listed, I'm happy to provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person therapy?
Research and clinical experience show that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for most concerns, including somatic and holistic work. Many clients find that being in their own space actually helps them feel more relaxed and open during our sessions.
